A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, AWARDING
THE. BID FOR "t~F~V~D~'~TZ-~URPOB~U~K' TO T~/tIL~R~qltFT*FOR
A TOTAL AMOUNT'OF $~$?~S8S.00, WHICH INCLUDES TI4E BASIC 'BID OF
..$137,585.0OAND DOES NOT INCLUDE THE DEDUCTIVE ALTERNATE NO. 1, -
$6,700.00.
WHEREAS, the City of Kenai received bids for the above mentioned
Heavy Duty Multi-Purpose Truck on October 11, 1990 and Trailer
Craft was the only bidder, and
WHEREAS~ the Basic Bid includes the truck, dump truck body,
watertanker, belly blade, and hardware for mounting snow plow, and
WHEREAS, Deductive Alternate No. 1 is the deletion of the Dump
Truck Body and it is not recommended to approve of this deduction,
and
WHEREAS, Trailer Craft's bid meets the bidding specifications
except for the deliverydate, and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available, and
WHEREAS, the' Council of the City of Kenai has
awarding 2his contract to Trailer graft for the
$~37~S8S.00 is in the best interest of the City.
