~ A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA,
ASVARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRU(:TION OF FIDALGO SUBDIVISION
STREET IMPROVEMENTS, TO QUALITY ASPFiALT PAVING.
tiVHEREAS, the following bids were received for the above mentioned
project:
Quality Asphalt Paving $T84,936.00
TAM Constnt~ction 873,562.30
Doyle's Excavating 87~3,790.65
P R f, S, Inc. 860,488.80
Engineer's Estimate 850,182.00
jVHEREAS, the reaammendation fr~m Peninsula Engineering, the
project de~ign engineer, is to award the contract to Quality
Asphalt Paving for a project construction cost of $784,936.00,
and
WHEREAS, Quality Asphalt Paving's total bid of $784,93E.0~ is
the lowest responsible bid and award to this bidder wauld be to
the best interest of the City, and
~VHEREAS, sufficient funds are appropriated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KENAI, ALASKA, THAT the contract for the construction of Fidalgo
Subdivision Street Improvements be awarded to Quality Asphalt
Paving in the amount of $784,936.00 ior the project construction
cost.
