RESOLUTION NO. 81-66
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA
AWARDING THE JANITORIAL CONTRACT FOR THE AIRPORT TERMINAL
FOR TtIE PERIOD JULY 1, 1981 TO JUNE 30, 1982.
WHEREAS, bids were received on May 28, 1931 for the contract
year July 1, 1981 to June 30, 1982, per square foot per month
(amounts in brackets are interpolated from annual bid), as
follows:
Sure Clean - William Coveyou $[39.06 s]
Servicemaster - Tom Harvey 28C
Clean Right Janitorial 125c]
Jack Castimore 26C
Steamway Janitorial Service 29C
A-I Janitorial [51 C]
WHEREAS, these bids translate per year (amounts in brackets are
interpolated from monthly bid), as follows:
Sure Clean - William Coveyou $37,500.00
Servicemaster - ±Fom Harvey 26,880.00
Clean Ric3ht Janitorial [24,000.00]
Jack Castimore 24,960.00
Steamway Janitorial Service 27,840.00
A-1 Janitorial [48,960.00]
WHEREAS, the Council has considered the experience of all bidders
in arriving at a determination of award in the best interests of the
City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI,
ALASKA, that the contract be awarded to
Clean Right Janitorial.
PASSED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENAI, ALASKA THIS 17th
day of June 1981.
