HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTION 1989-57Suggested by: City Council City of Kenai ~SOnOTXON NO. 8g- 57 A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA DIRECTING THE CONTINUATION OF THE FATHOM/TOYON INTERSECTION ASSESSMENT DISTRICT. WHERF~S, the City of Kena! has held a public hearing to liear comment concerning the necessity for paving and drainaqe~provements, and the proposed assessments relating to such ~mprovements, at the Fathom/To¥on Intersection, and WHERF~S, the Council finds it desirable to continue with the proposed project and assessment district. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, that= Section 1~ The paving and drainage huprovements at the Fathom/Toyon Intersectto~"'are necessary and of benefit to the properties to be assessed. Section 2: The assessment district has not been objected to by o~ners of properties bearing 50% or more of the est~ated costs to be borne by property owners. Section 3: An accounting shall be kept of the costs of these tmprovements, and after &ll costs are known, the City Manager shall prepare an assessment roll for the ~mprovements. It is esthuated that 12% of the costs of the~mprovements will be assessed against the benefited properties. PASSED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENAI, ALASKA, this 2nd day of August, 1989.
