A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, AWARDING A-CONT~
TO HUTCHINGS CHEVROI~T-OLDSMOBILE-CADILLAC, INC. IN ~ A~OUNT OF $30,758.00 FOR
TWO 1990 POLICE PATROL VEHICLES.
WHEREAS, the Kenai Police Department solicited bids for two 1990. police patrol
vehicles, and received bids on November 30, 1989, as follows: " :

WHER~S, both bids substantially conform to the btd specifications, and
WHEREAS, the bid from Hutchings Chevrolet-Oldsmobile-Cadillac, Inc. is the lowest
responsible bid.
NOW, THEREFOHE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITYOFKENAI, ALASKA, that
a contract be awarded to Hutchings Chevrolet-Oldsmobile-Cadillac, Inc. for two
1990 police patrol vehicles at a total cost of $30,758.00.

Request a resolution be prepared for Cit~ Council awarding the
purchase of two (2) 1990 patrol cars to Hutching8 Chevrolet. The
purchase amount f.or the two vehicles is to be $30,758.
Bids were opened on 11/30/89. Bids were received as follows:
Nut chi_ngs Chevrolet $30,758.00 ........
Peninsula Ford $31,032.00
Hutchings Chevrolet is the lowest bidder. Neither bidder took
signif.icant exceptions to the bid specif'icatione.
It is our request that the award be made to the low bidder at the
price quoted.
