FOR THE PROJECT ENTITLED "SEEDXNG 1987 - AIRPORT #AY, COOK INhET VXEW, LILAC# FOE THE AMOUNT OF 810,780.00. WHEREAS, the City of Eenai received bids from the following fi~ms: Brown Construc~ion Airport Way: Seeding Maint./Watering Cook Inlet/Lilac: Seeding Maint./Watering 85,590.00 760.00 84,030.00 400.00 W_ard~$ Landscaoina Airport Way: Seeding Maint./Watering Cook Inlet/Lilac: Seeding Maint./Watering 85,590.00 760.00 8¢,030.00 400.00 WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Kenai feels that it is in the best interest of the City of Kenai to award this project to Ward's Landscaping Service, Inc., and WHEREAS, the recommendation of the Public Works Department is to award this p~o~ect to Ward's Landscaping Service, Inc., and WHEREAS, sufficient funds are appropriated. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF K~NAI, ALASKA, that the a contract be awarded for seeding to Ward's Landscaping Service, Inc. for the project entitled "Seeding 1987 - Airport Way, Cook Inlet View, Lilac" for the amount of 810,780.00. PASSED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, this 1st daf of July, 1987. The Code states that in cases of bids equally competitive, the City may select one bid or share the work among the bidders, but shall always select the bid most advantageous to the City.
