Suggested by: Council CITY OF KENAI RESOLUTION N0. 84-134 A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, ADOPTING THE CI1Y OF KENAI, ALASKA, 1985-86 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS (CIP) LIST FOR REQUEST FOR STATE GRANTS. WHEREAS, .input for the 1985-86 CIP List from the Kenai City Council, City Planning and Zoning Commission, Parks and Recreation Commission, City Manager and Department Heads, and especially the citizens of the City of Kenai, has resulted in the following prioritized CIP list being requested of the State of Alaska and, WHEREAS, the following public meetings were held, most of which were well publicized and advertised: Public Meetings August 7, 1984 August 27, 1984 September i, 1984 September 12, 1984 October 3, 1984 October 8, 1984 October 10, 1984 October 17, 1984 October 23, 1984 WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Kenai, after receiving and analyzing the input from all sources and after much discussion and deliberation, has decided to adopt the attached 1985-86 CIP Liat, and WHEREAS, the Mayor and the Council of the City of Kenai pledge their affirmative vote for the maintenance and operational costs of all the projects listed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, that the City of Kenai adopts the attached list entitled, "City of Kenai, Alaska, 1985-86 Capital Improvement Projects Request for State Grants," which includes a list of projects to be considered by the State as area-wide projects of a State and Regional importance.
