RESOLUTION NO. 82-15
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE. CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, AWARDING A
CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF 1981 SPRUCE STREET ROAD IMPROVEMENTS

WHEREAS, the following is a description of the Schedules:
Schedules A
Street Improvements to Spruce Street including gravel surfacing.
Schedule AAA-1
Topsoil and Seeding
WHEREAS, Doyle Construction Co.'s bid was declared non -responsive because
a bid item was omitted, and
WHEREAS, the recommendation from Wince, Corthell, Bryson, the project
design engineer, is to award the contract to Quality Asphalt Paving, Inc., and
WHEREAS, Quality Asphalt Paving, Inc.'s bid is the lowest responsible bid
and award to this bidder would be in the best interest of the City, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA,
that the contract for the construction of 1981 Spruce Street Road
Improvements be awarded to Quality Asphalt Paving, Inc. in the amount of
$95,818.00 which includes Schedules A and AAA-1.
PASSED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, this 20th day of
January, 1982.
