RESOLUTION NO. 82--45
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENAI, ALASKA,
AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR CHAIRS FOR THE SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER.
w'HEREAS, the following proposals were submitted
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KENAI, ALASKA, that the contract for chairs for the Senior
Citizens Center be awarded to
PASSED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, this 19th day
of May, 1982.

The City of Kenai will receive sealed bids for furnishing
115 Upholstered Stacking Chairs and One Stacking Chair Hand Truck
at the office of the City Clerk, Box 580, Kenai, Alaska 99611
until 2 p.m. local time, May 19, 1982. At which time, they will
be opened publicly and read aloud..
Chairs to be welded 7/8 inch tubular steel frame.
Legs to have swivel (leveling) glides.
Frame to have stacking bumpers to protect chairs when stacked.
Seat to be two-inch foam pad.
Back to be foam padded.
Back and seat to be vinyl covered.
Frame to have hand grip at top of back.
Chairs to be Adirondack No. CHS085, Virco No. 8921 or approved equal.
Hand Truck to be Adirondack No. TRC 005, Virco SCT 89 or approved equal.
Chairs and Hand Truck to be delivered to Kenai. City will select
frame finish and vinyl color.
Bids are to be submitted in a sealed envelope and marked on the outside,
lower, left-hand corner, "Chair Bid." The City of Kenai reserves the
right to reject any or all bids.
