Mayor Holston noted a request for an additional $5,000 was j
added this date. City Manager Brighton explained these
monies were appropriated previously# but reverted because
the buildings did not get moved. He asked to have the

monies reappropriated.

Councilmen Measles moved, seconded by Councilman Ackerly,
to amend the ordinance to add $4,000 and $1,000 per memo

Recreation Director McGillivray explained this was Monday
through Friday. Mayor Holston said they were having
difficulty working out the fee schedule.

Councilmen Wagoner moved, seconded by Councilman Wise, to
table action till the 1st week in November and have
Administration send it back to the Recreation Commission.

C-7 Resolution 83-140 - Transfer of funds, Patch City Streets-
$5,000
MOTIONS
Councilman Measles moved, seconded by Councilwoman Glick,
to adopt the resolution.
PUBLIC COMMENTS
John Williams. He asked if Lawton and Walker were to be
repaired. Public Works Director Kornelis replied, by the
contractor. Mr. Williams noted when the asphalt was laid,

a criteria was established that it would not be cut open
for a period of time. Why was it cut? Mr. Kornelis
explained, the City did not request it. P&Z Code allows
6-plexes on residential Iota. When the City goes through,
they do not know the number of buildings. On Walker Lane
an individual built a 4-plax and needed a larger line. The
$5,000 is included in this. There are 3 areas:
Cypress - sewer line
Walnut A Elm - storm drain
Deepwood - sewer line

Also, the hot mix was in the wrong budget item. Councilman
Ackerly asked if the hole by the Court House could be

C-B Transfer of Liquor License - Katmai to Pines Club
Clerk Whelan reported all taxes are current with both
businesses.

Councilwoman Glick moved, seconded by Councilman Wagoner,
to send a letter of non -objection to ABC regarding the

to adopt the ordinance.

to adopt the resolution.

C-4 Resolution 83-146 - Establishing Airport Development
Committee
Mayor Wagoner noted the substitute distributed this date.
He explained this channels the direction of the group to the
west side of the airport and will have s termination date.
He noted he preposes doing this to all commissions and
committees. .(termination date)
MOTION(
Councilman Ackerly moved, seconded by Councilwomen Bailie,
to adopt the substitute resolution.
There was no public comment.
Councilmen Wise suggested it should be a full fledged
commission for operation of the airport. Councilmen Hail
said this is a good first step. Mayor Wagoner said he would
have a suggested list of members for the Nov. 30 meeting.

C-5 Resolution 83-147 - Transfer of Funds - Repair Coate on
Airport - $10,000
MOTIONS
Councilwomen Bailie moved, seconded by Councilwomen Monfor,
to adopt the resolution.
There was no public comment.
Airport Manager Swalley said this is for replacement of
funds expended for the fence that was down. Insurance did
not cover it because it was from frost heave.
Motion passed unanimously by roll call vote.
