CITY OF KENAI
RESOLUTION N0. 78-110
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA AUTHORIZING
AWARD OF BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE WATER JET SEWER CLEANER.
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works, iVater and Sewer service,
is very much in need of a water jet sewer cleaner, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Kenai under Ordinance No. 412-78
has authorized the purchase of one sewer jet, and
WHEREAS, the lowest bid price was under the amount of money allocated
in the above-mentioned ordinance, and
WHEREAS, Totem Equipment and Supply Company, Inc. was the only bidder,
and
WHEREAS, Totem Equipment and Supply Company, Inc.'s bid was as follows:
1 ea O'Brien SKJ-4A water jet sewer cleaner
basic machine $15,998.00
1 ea engine tachometer 99.00
1 ea low water warning light 58.00
1 ea engine hour meter 65.00
1 ea gang hose nozzle 118.00
1 ea tandem gang nozzle 249.00
1 ea dual degree nozzle 134.00
extra high pressure wash down gun and
high pressure hose 279.00
TOTAL: $17,000.00
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Kenai,
Alaska to purchase from Totem Equipment and Supply Company, Inc.
one water jet sewer cleaner with the above-mentioned accessories
for the total price of $17,000.00.
PASSED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, this 29th ddy
of June, 1978.
