Home My WebLink AboutRESOLUTION 1977-100CITY OF KENAI RESOLUTION NO. 77-100 A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA, AMENDING THE LOCAL ROADS AND TRAILS PLAN FOR 1877-1978. WHEREAS, the City of Kenai has been allocated certain Federal funds and desires to use these funds and local funds to augment Local Serviee Roads and Trails funds, and WHEREAS, an effective program requires re-evaluation and changes in the currently proposed program . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Kenai, Alaska, as follows: Section 1 of Resolution No. 76-40 is hereby rescinded. Section 2 of Resolution No. 76-59 is hereby rescinded. Section 3: (a) The City of Kenai allocates 5190, 000 in Federal Local Public Works funds for this project. (b) The City of Kenai allocates 5142,062,95 in Local Roads and Trails monies for this project. (c) The City of Kenai allocates 5100, 000 in Local Road Bond monies for this project. Section 4: The project hereby authorized is the upgrading and reconstruction of five local roads: 1. Kaknu Way 2. Lupine Street 3. "D" Street NW (4th Avenue/Wilson Drive) 4. Walker Lane 5. Lilac Lane Section 5: Details of proposed projects are attached hereto as Appendices A, A-1. A-2, A-3, A-4 and A-5. Section 6: The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with the State of Alaska to accomplish the project herein authorized.
