WHEREAS. the City advertised for bids on two (2) new Police ears anticipating that 1978 pricing would be released by the manufacturers, and WHEREAS . only one (1) bid was received showing a percentage increase in price over 1977 prices and all other expected bidders declined to bid without specific prices; and WHEREAS . the request for bids appears to have been premature . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI, ALASKA that all bids received be rejected and the request for bids be re-advertised .
