ALASKA Q~ISLF.R, IlJC. FOR Tl~ PUR{1iASE OF TielU POLIO CARS AT $5,469.90,
RA'li~R 1I~AN AT $5, 367.80 AS PROVIDED FOR BY RF.SOLITTION X30. 77-141.
SAS, Resolution No. 77-141 accepted bid from Alaska Chrysler, Inc.
proposal ~p2, in the amotuit of $5,367.80 per vehicle for two Plymouth Volare
sedans, and
i~AS, the purct~se of the Volares would require the porchase of two new
screens, which separate the front seat from the back seat, at an appraa~imate
cost of $250 each, and
WFi~FAS, the p~chase of Plymouth Flays, Proposal ~~1, frau Alaska Chrysler,
Inc. would not require the purchase of additional screens, and
WEI~AS, the Plymouth Flays were bid at $5,469.90 each, or $102.10 more than
the Volares, and
WE>ERFAS, the total cost of the Plymouth Flays ties became less than the
total cost of the Plymouth Volares including the new screens.
IOW, Tom, BE IT RESOLVED by the Co~mcil of ttre City of Renai, Alaska
that Resolution Noy 77-141 is hereby rescinded and the City therefore accepts
bid from Alaska Chyysler, Inc., proposal ~~1, in the amount of $5,469.90 each
vehicle.
