ALASKA ROYALTY OIL .
WHEREAS, there is a probability that the one-ei~-hth share of the Rtate of
Alaska royalty oil shall be refined in the Greater. Kenai economic region of
the Kenai Peninsula T3orough, and
WHEREAS, such development shall impact the established infrastructure, schools,
and municipal services, and
H'FTERFAS , such impacts shall require expenditure of funds for both capital and
~ operating needs before significant tax revenues accrue to the municipalities
~ affected .

j NOW, THERIrFORE, RF IT RFSOLVI?T) bV the Assembly of the
Borough, the council of the City of Roldotna and the council of the city of uenAi
that the State of Alaska nepartment of Natural Resources and the Gtate Royalty
~~ Oil Board are hereby petitioned to include in the contracts to by presented to the
~ Governor and the State Legislature language that would require the fundinK
h of such impacts by the corporations awarded the one-eighth share of Ctate of
Alaska royalty oil. Such sums to be subject to negotiations relative to actual impact.
