CITY OF KENAI , ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. ?B-13
A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING SB 582
WHEREAS , the Legislature Interim Committee has recommended passage of
SB 582 which would authorize a bond issue of thirty seven million dollars ($37,000,000)
be placed before the voters; and
WHEREAS , the City of Kenai would be eligible for at least five hundred thousand
dollars (;500,000) for construction of a port facility; and
WHEREAS, Kenai would be designated a port of entry which could result in
lower fuel, food and materials prices.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Council of the City of Kenai. Alaska
that SB 582 be passed by the Legislature.
