RESOLUTION NO. ?6-68
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO FILE A STATEMENT OF
OF ASSURANCES WITH THE OFFICE OF REVENUE SHARING (FEDERAL) TO
QUALIFY THE CITY POR FUNDING UNDER PROVISIONS OF THE PUBLIC WORKS
EMPLOYMENT ACT OF 1976 -TITLE II, ANTI-RECESSION REVENUE SHARING .
WHEREAS, the Public Employment Act of 1976, Title II, provides for disbursement
of Anti-Recession Revenue Sharing Funds, acid
WHEREAS, the Oifice of Reve;.ua Sharing hea required by regulations promulgated
under the Act certain assurances by recipient governmental units.
NOW, TiiEAEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Kenai, Alaska,
that the City Council acknowledges the requirements imposed by regulation
and agrees to abide by them and further authorizes the City Manager to execute
the Statement of Assurances required by regulation.
PASSED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI this 3rd day of November, 1976.
