A CERTAIN PLACE WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS AS BEING A PROPER PLACE FOR THE
DY$CSARGB OF FYREARMS.
WHE ,the Council of the Cfty of Kenai is enacting Ordinance No. 282-75 which
declares that it shall be unlawful for any person to discharge a firearm in any place
the City limits other then in an area specifically designated by Council, end
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Kenai, pursuant to Ordinance 262-75 may designate
bq reaoltation areas or places within the City Limits where a firearm may be discharged,
and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Kenai has found the following area within the City
limits, with the exceptions noted hereafter, to be a proper place for the discharge of

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Kenai, Alaska, as
follows
Section 1. A shotgun may be discharged within that area which is bounded
as follows, with those exceptions set out in Section 2:
Beginning at a point which fe the fntereection of
Davidsen Drive and the Kenai Spur, thence easterly
along the southerly edge of the Renal Spur to a point which
4s the intersection of Beaver Loop and the Kenai Spur,
ihenee southwesterly along the northerlq edge of Beaver
Loop Road to Cunningham Perk, thence north along a
lice which is the extension of Davidson Drive to the point
of beginning.
It shall be unlawful to discharge any type of firearm other than a shotgun

SectioYt 2. It shell be unlawful to discharge a firearm at any point which
is within 100 yards of a residential or cammercial etrueture or of a maintained
street or highway.
