S, the Council of the City of Kenai is enacting Ordinance No. 262-75 which declares that it shall be unlawful for anq person to discharge a firearm im any place within the city limits other than in an area specificellq designates by council. end WAEREAS, the Council of the City of Kenai, pursuant to Ordinance 282-?5 may designate by resolution erase ar places within the Citq limits where a firearm may be discharged, and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Kenai has found the following area within the City limits, with the exceptions noted hereafter, to be a proper place for the discharge of firearms. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Kenai, Ahtaka, as follows: Section 1. A firearm maq be discharged within that area which is bounded as follows, with those exceptions set out in Section 2: Beginning st a point which is the intersection of the Kenaf Spur and the southerly City limits approximately Mile 4, then northwest along the westerly edge of the Kenai Spur t0 the intersection of the Kenai Spur and Lugine Brive, then west along a line drawn to Beaver Loop Road which intersects the southerly end of Wilson Court, thence southwesterly from the intersection of such line and Benner Loop Road along Beaver Loop Road to Cunningham Park. thence south crossing Oho Kenai River to the south bank, thence along such bank of the Kenai River upstream to that point where the river crosses the City lintite, thence north and then east along the City limits line to the point oP beginning. Section 2. It shall be unlawful to discharge a firearm at any pohtt which fe within 200 yards of a residential or cemmercia! structure or of a maintafaed street ®r highway.
