S, the Council oP the Citq of Renal ie enecHng Ordinance No. 262-?5 which dey~c~la„res that it shall be unlawful for any person to discharge a in eaaq place Withht the Oity limits other than in an area speoifiCally designated by Ciounoils and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Kenai, pursuant to Ordinance 262-75 may designate bq rewlution areas or places within the City Hmits where a firearm may be discharged, end 8 , the Council of the Citq of Renal has found the following area within the City limits, with the exceptions noted hereafter, to be a proper place for the discharge of NOW, THBREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Councri of the City of Kenai, Alaska, as follows: Section 1. Any firearm, including a shotgun, may be discharged within an area which is described ea follows oniq for the purpose of taking game aafmale from September 1 to April 30. with those exceptions set out to Section 2: Beginning at Cunningham Park crossing the Renei River to the south bank, thence grneeeding along the westerly bank in a southerly direction to the intersection of the south City limits, tBar-ce westerly along the southern City limits to the intereeetion of the Cook Inlet. thence northerly to the mouth of the Kenai River, thence oa a Line due east to that point where such Hne intersects Beaver Loop Road, thence following the southerly edge of Seaver Loop Road to the point of beginning. Secaoa 2. It shau be unlawful to discharge a firearm at any point which is within 100 yards of a residential or commercial structure or of a maintained street or highway.
