A RESOLUTION CONQNENDING THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF ALASKA AND
HIS ADMINISTRATION FOR THEIR ACTIONS IN RECOMMENDING AN EXPANSION
OF GOyE'RNMENTAL SERVICES IN THE CITY OF K~NAI.
WHBREAS, the City of Keani is a major trading center on the Kenai
Peninsula serving 10,000 people more or less, and
WHEREAS, the City of Kenai is an economic center serving the
nucleus of the State's largest industrial complex, and
i WHEREAS, Kenai also services a large commercial ~ishing e~fort
I NOW~ THEREFORE, B~ IT RESOLyED THAT:
~ First, the Council of the City o£ Kenai commends the Governor
~ o~ the State o~ Alaska and his Administration for their actions
, i in ~ecommending the expansion of govern~nental services .
£acilities in the City o~ Kenai, and
' Second, ths Council of tfie City of Kenai pledges its support
i and cooperation toward th.e accomplishment of these goals to '
~ the end o£ constructing these badly needed £acilities in
th.e i,mmediate future.
