sibility for. the Kenai Airport; and

TtihItEF01tE, the City Council of Kenai, ;.i.~ska, Resolves:
1. 'that the Cit; re-affirm its declaration r,f its intent to accept ownerslril, and manapc-
~ ment of the Ken~.i Airport at the most i~ropit ions time.
I 2. This declaration is intended as formal evi~lcnce of the willingness and ability of the
City of Kenai to proceed with all required conferences, negotiations, and prc:lirt~inary in-
~ vestigations required prior to tlrc transfer of the I;enai Airport to the City of Kenai.
~ 3. That the City is now operating and maintaining the Airport under agreement with the
FAA, working through an Airport Commission and an Airport t)ircrtor.
4. That Mayor James (;. Dye,`•layor, be designated a:, official representative of the City
to act for the City in the process of Airport transfer.
5. That copies of this declaration of intent he distrihuted to responsible officials of
the Federal Aviation Administration, Division of Aviation of the 5t ate of Alaska, the
Alaskan Congressional Delegation, and all other such persons as may request a copy or be
::tzrested in this official policy declaration of the City of Kenai; further that time
is of the essence and the City is very desirous of an immediate transfer.
