DESIGNATING RESTAURtiIIT PREMISES !~S tiUTHORI~ BY dS 04.15.020
where alcoholic beverages are sold concurrently with food service
as such service might affect the presence of, or otherwise exclude
the presence of persona of less than 21 years of age.
i•1HEREAS, prior to Amendment of i~S 04.15.020 by Chapter
118, SLA 1966, there existed technical violations when portions
of lees than 21 years of age entered premises, even though excourt-
ed by an adult (defined by the State Alcoi~olic Control Statutes as
e person over 21 years of age hereinafter referred to es an adult)
and said amendment permits an action by the City Council which will
avoid the said technical violation;
WHEREAS, an inquiry bas been directed to the F~tablish-
menta listed below, all of which are operated in conjunction with
premises licensed by the Alcoholic Feverage Control Board of the
State of Alaska and a request for designation of s portion oP the
said premises hae been received.
1~10i•J TH%itFORE be it resolved by the Council of the City
of Kenai:
1. That the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board of the State
of Alaska is hereby requested to approve the following premises
tie restaurants for the purposes set forth in AS 04.15.020(8).
(1) Royal Redoubt Cafe
(2 ) Harbor View I•Iotel
(3) Reds Dining Room (at Larry~s)
(4) Cafe at Tri-City Bowl
(5) Cafe at Kenai Municipal Airport Terminal Building

2. That this resolution is indicated as proir approval of
such designations as restaurant premises as may be rr~ade by the
Alcoholic Beverage Control Board.
3• Thet the City Clerk is hereby directed to send a certified
copy of this resolution to the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board
and to each of the premises requesting designation her'e'in
