. ADOPTI~yG THF ~UOGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR OF JULY 1, 1969, TNROUGI~ JUNE 30~ 1970. A:~D SET7ING
~ THE TAX LEVY.
WHEREAS, it is the requir~ement of the Charter of the City of Kenai, Alaska, that the City
Council of the City of Kenai~ annually set a~udget for the operation of the City of Kenai;

WHEREAS. it is necessary to advise the Borough of the Levy to be made against Real Property
for the collection of taxes to support said budget:
NOW. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY TNE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENAI. ALASKA. that
1. The Budget of the City of Kenai attached hereto is hereby adopted. effective July 1, 1969~
through June 30. 1970.
2. That expenditures pursuant to said budget shall nct require additional authorization. other
than this Resolution unless reconfirn~ed by subsequent Council action.
3. That the said Budget shall be reviewed as required during fiscal year.
4. That the tax levy for the support of the said budget is set at 10 mills per dollar of as-
sessed valuation on Real Property only within the Corporate Limlts of the City of Kenai. Said
mill rate is for general municipal purposes.
~. T{~at the City Manager is hereby directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to
,~ the Kenai Peninsula Borough as formal notification of the mill rate levy to be @stablished for
;_,,, the City of Kenai for 1969-70.
