ROLL CALL Presents Tom Wagoner, Tom Ackerly, Sally Bailie, Jess Hall, Ray Measles, Chris Monfor Absents John Wise B. PUBLIC HEARING B-1 Ordinance 973-84 - Increasing Rev/Appns - Baron Park Water & Sewer - $1389000 MOTIONS Councilman Ackerly moved, seconded by Councilman Measles, to adopt the ordinance. There was no public comment. Councilman Hall asked to abstain, he is an affected party to the ordinanrq. MOTION, Amendments Councilman Ackerly moved, seconded by Councilman Measles, to amend the ordinance to an amount not -to -exceed $200,000 including engineering design of water do sewer, including lots 4 do 5. Finance Director Brown said the current balance in the airport account is $935,000. City Manager Brighton said lots 1,2 do 3 are spoked for. VOTE, Amendment (Passed)s Motion passed by unanimous vote with Councilman Hall abstaining. Finance Director Brown noted they did not change engineering inspection, etc. Is it implied Administration would apply to accounts? Mayor Wagoner replied yes. VOTE, Main Motion as Amended (Passed): Motion passed by unanimous vote with Councilman Hall abstaining. MOTIONS Councilman Ackerly moved, seconded by Councilwoman Bailie, to adopt the resolution. There was no public comment. Mayor Wagoner asked if these were not -to -exceed figures. Public Works Director Kornelis replied, $13,000 for engineering and inspection; design is $9,500, inspection is $3,500. 'T—Ls- *6.& ►S %vv% -L-:gK•-4s . MOTION, Amendments Councilman Ackerly moved, seconded by Cruncilmer ?lasales, to amend the resolution to $9,500 for design, $3,50 for inspection and surveying; to Trans Alaska Engineering. VOTE, Amendments Motion passed unanimously by roll call vote with Councilman Hall abstaining. VOTE, Mein Motion as Amendeds Motion passed unanimously by roll call vote with Councilman Hall abstaining. City Manager Brighton noted there will be 3 parties at the Sept. 19 meeting wanting to purchase lease property by contract. He asked them to review Atty. Rogers' memo regarding selling by contract.
