Roll Call Present: Jess Hall, Ray Measles, Chris Monfor, Ton Wagoner, Tom Ackerly, Sally Bailie Absents John Wise Mayor Wagoners This special meeting has been called to address Resolution 83-144. Resolution 83-144 requesting State funding for priority projects. MOTIONS Councilman Ackerly moved, seconded by Councilman Hall to adopt Resolution 83-144. There was no public comment. Mayor Wagoners There should be two amendments mades 1) typo in 7th paragraph should be "extend" not "extending". 2) #5 Civic Center should say "community" center and not "con- vention type". Also we should cross out Robert London Smith, who is the Commissioner of the Department of Health, Education A Social Services and has nothing to do with this and should be sent to Dr. Reynolds, Commissioner of Education. Councilman Measleas feels that the Airport Apron is more important than the Taxiway Extension. MOTION, Amendment: Councilman Measles moved, seconded by Councilwoman Bailie to move the Ramp Extension to #2. There was no public comment. Motion passed by roll call vote with Councilman Ackerly voting no. Mayor Wagoners Resolution 83-144 has been amended to change #4 to 02. My changes do not have to be in the form of an amendment since they don't change the meaning or intent of the resolution. s Special Meeting October 31, 1983 Page 2 MOTION, Amendments Councilman Masslaes moved, seconded by Councilwoman Bailie to make the amendments as pointed out by Mayor Wagoner. Motion passed by unanimous consent. DISCUSSIONS Councilman Halls going a pilot he didn't think the taxiway situation is the problem as stated the other night. He felt that the Taxiway and Civic Center should be reversed as far as priority. MOTION, Amendments Councilman Hall moved, seconded by Councilman Mea81as to amend the motion to swap the Taxiway with the Civic Center. There was no public comment. DISCUSSIONS Councilwoman Monfor wanted to know if there would be a problem if it got knocked off the list. Mayor Wagoner said it would be a time delay problem. Councilman Measles said the ramp extension is needed. If there is a delay for six weeks out the year, a 3 or 4 minute delay is not a problem. Motion passed by roll call vote. Mayor Wagoners The priority list now is switched, #2 iz #5; #4 is #2; and 05 is #4. Main motion, as amended passed by roll call vote.
