MINUPES SPECIAL KENAI CITY CWNCiL M-1 TING 12 XNI., 1967
Roll call: Members present - Bob Bielefeld, Chester Cone, hilly McCann, Florin Mc-
Collum and Carl Seaman; Members absent - John Hulion, Mayor ,lames G. 11yo.
The City Mgr. presented S/D of Doris Day, but as it did not have the required number
of sq. ft., even though it was passed by the Planning Commission, Council was ob-
liged to turn it down. This is the second Plat submitted without the correct sq,
footage per lot for Rural Residential Zone.
Harrison presented Res. 67-23, Releasing Tract A-3, CAP Site on Airport Lands. lie
explained the City will undertake certain things to fulfill our part of the agree-
ment with the Air Force. I.E.:
1. Restrictions will be the same as in the other agreement.
2. The City will re-assemblo the hangar
3. The City will move the two buildings now there.
4. Electric and telephone service will be hooked up in the new site.
5. Water h Sewer will be put in when available.
6. For the present, the City will drive a sand point and put in a septic
tank.
7. The area will be gravelled py the City.
8. This authorizes the City Mgr. to sign.
There was some discussion, but most of this has been gone over beto,e. ;The
new site is across from A. L. Hudson's lot on SAA, and will not interfer with the
South turn -around for plane traffic.
Money from the sale of land to Etolin S/D will be used to contract out the
work needed for CAP facility. It is expected this will cost between 15 and 20 thou-
sand dollars.
McCann moved, Cone seconded, to adopt Res. 67-23. Motion passed unanimously.
Harrison explained he had hit a snag on turning over Health Center Site, but Joe
Keenan is working on this, and it is hoped it can be cleared up right away.
Meeting adjourned for a budget study session at 8:50 p.m.
