Dear Hr. Crinklaws
This is to acknowledge your 1 '.ter of Decem-

expected power requirements as presentee :herein. Our
Intentions are also recorded in the minu is of the reg-
ular meeting of the Kenai City Council held January 8,
1964, tie are at present awaiting delivery of a now
unit of approximately 1500 Kw capacity, 1:nvinrr oom-

This unit will leave the factory about April 1, 1964.
and will be in operation by June 1, 1964.
In an earlier letter you ask that we make
efforts to intertie with Homer Electric or other power
sources. For your information, more than a year ago
I notified the HEA manager, Pr. Larry Parnen, of our
desire to effect such an intertie and expreined will-
insess to meet and discuss feasibility. From this
contact, two meetings resulted the first, held in Nov-
ember, 19629 with 3ud Schultz JCEA) and kr. Farnen (HRA)
was Inconclusive; the second, held January 3, 19646
with Mr. ramen and Robert Retherford, was also incon-
clusive, but indicated some progress townrd tho inter -
tie. Our intentions are to aontinup these efforts as
long as such progress appears likely.
We invite the members of the Council and your-
self to visit our plant at any time.
Yours very truly
