Four sewer lines have been intercepted, but temporary measures for drainage
have been taken.
Mr. Corthell reported Airport work is in prograss--it's kind of muddy but they

The City has a release from Adams-Corthell-Lee to make the final payment on
the Airport Access Rd. A report came into the office this road is sot suit-
able :-that it is so unsuitable, the oil truck barely manages to traverse it --
that M K is contracting with Kellogg to haul the gravel because M-K cannot
take t1leir cans over the road. ????
Mr. Smythe, Anchorage Alaska State Housing Authority called 2:30 Wednesday;
he had called Regional office in San Francisco --they objected to sir large an
outlay of funds an their part per person in Kenai. They based their feeling
on a population of 800--I told Mr. Smythe the City's official figur- was 1400,
and he seemed to think it would make a difference. Ile also said S.F. thot it
was unnecessary to repeat so much of the study so soon; Mr. Smythe said the
study would have to be conducted to be correct, and the work will be done, but
the paper work will not show --this is to please S.F. Ar. Smythe is sure approval
will be granted so will send a resolution for Council to work with for next
week's meeting.
Marvin Smith was in at 3:30 Wed. saying his sewer line had been cut --just
wanted the City to know. Said ti.cy hadn't had time to connect to the new
one yet --was jsut reporting it.
/Leo submitted forms for the quarterly inspection of buildings --if this is not
completed and sent in, the City will not be able to benefit from the low rate
for buildings. Leo suggests Mr. Crinklaw make the inspection. lie says it
should be a City Official.
