T NTATIVE AGENDA:
Should we pu_ signs by Old Federal Jail? "City Property - Keep out" Little
by little, pieces are being carted off - even the window sash in the attic
window. Mr. Ehrendreich is for sponsoring a campaign to get this fixed up for
a Civic Center. The Kenai Days Committe is considering adopting this project
and with volunteer workers plus some money, maybe Kenai can have a place for
its meetings, etc.
ne Bill for vaccine, etc.
Permits for bus service through the City of Kenai?
Ordinance Two Revisions?
Petition for Charter Commission election?
Revenue of some sort from trailers within the City.
[If further business comes up over the week -end, will amend this agenda, but
thid will give you an idea.]
Mr. Morin just called. He prefers the City handle the money. Dr. Barnes has
stipulated the charge for shots should be $5.00 as this is line with the vet's
fee. Bill was $50.00; serum (forty shots) is $1.00 ea; needles $.25 ea.; Mr.
Morin's fee for administering the shot - $1.00 (if o.k. by Council), leaving
the City $2.75 to help defray expenses in enforcing dog ordinance. One
other thought on dogs ---Ord. #15, Sec. 20 is being violated by the City, viz.
"Vaccination shall be performed only by a doctor qualified to practice veter-
inary medicine in the state in which the dog is vaccinated." Shouldn't this
be changed to meet practical arrangements?
-,Add to Agenda - 6/20/62: Ord. amending Property Tax; 15% penalty reduced to 10%
"111so r9solution fixing tax levy and mill rate on property tax.
