Old Basin s: 1 motion was made by Dick Morgan that a per mit, out no franchise, be
given to the Homer Electric Association to service a group of
people south of the river within the city limits. The Motion was secondw.. by
Helen Jones.
The motion unanimously carriet.
/ ,Helen Jones motioned a letter be sent to Mr. Biss to contact Mr.MeKee as to what
(/ his price for appraisal would be including a land appraisal.
The motion was seccpAed by Dick Morgan.

��Carl Swanson motioned that proposed ordinance No. 1, section 7, sub -paragraph C,
/' be changed to May - the third tuesday.
Seconded by Dick Morgan.
Motion was Unimously passed.
A vote was taken on whether to adopt proposed ordinance No. 1 oe not.
The council unanimously voted to adopt ordinance No. 1.
'I_Adek Morgan motioned the City Clerk be bonded for &10,000.00 as required by law.
V Helen Jones seconded the Motion.
The motion unanimously passed.
Dick Morgan motioned the City Clerk be authorized to pay for the cityts post office
box, stationery bill, the Cheeehako Newspaper, Mrs.Moserts secretarial bill.
Carl Swanson seconded the motion.
The motion unanimously passed.
/iLiek Morgan motioned that the proposed ordinance no.2, Section 4 sub -paragraph A
t� leave out the words 'real or' and Casual sales not exceedingl$100.001 instead
of &50.00.
The motion was seconded by Carl Swanson.
Assenting votes: Chet Cone, Emil Dolchokk, Helen Jones, Carl Swanson, Dick Morgan.
Councilman John Swanson d-ld not cast a vote.
The motion carried.

Dick Morgan motioned that section 10, of proposed ordinance No. 2, be changed to
read December 1, instead of October.
Seconded by Carl Swanson.
Assenting votes: Chet Cone, Hnil Dolchtk, Helen Jones, Carl Swanson, Dick Morgan.
Councilman John Swanson did not cast a vote.
The motion carried.
A vote was taken on proposed ordinance No. 2.
Assenting votes: Carl Swanson, Dick Morgan, Chet Cone, W.1 Dolchok.
Dissenting votes: Helen Jones, John Swanson.
Ordinance No. 2 was accepted by a majority vote.► for the first reading.

Motion was made by Carl Swanson to write to the State of Alaska, Division of bands,
that Section 36 Township 6 N., Range ll W., Seward Meridian, be classified as
Light Industrial instead of Commercial, as we have not yet zoned but intend to
zone that section as 'Light Industrial$.
Seconded by Dick Morgan.
The motion unammmmously carried.
A motion vas made by Dick Morgan that a letter be written to Mr. Biss asking him to
provide the council with drafts of more or less standard ordinances providing laws
for the fohl.owing:
A. Maintenance of law and order and authorizing police authority.
C. Zoning regulations.
. Building permits.
B. gire,iregulations -- Power and authority to enforee.
A motion was made by Dick Morgan that a City Planner may have the authority to
obligate the City in an amount not to exceed $250.00, Adak sum is to be speak.
for services of an Architectural Bnginerr, with City Planning experience and
association, for the purpose of drawing a master phanning plot for the City.
Seconded by Helen Jones.
Motion passed unanimously.
A request was made that the, City Clerk Write a letter of inquiry to Mr. Guertin,
Ca=issioner, Dept. of Administration, concerning information as to the status of
the Federal Building,(old marshal's house and jail.)
