Roll calls Mayor Swanson, Dick ►!organ, Helen Jones, R-il Dolchok and Chet Co,e present. Minutes of last meting read, corrected and annroved. Bill for u13.00 for COD package for receint books for city Maid for by Mayor Swanson was read. Notion made by Dick Morgan to pay the bill. Motion seconded by Helen Jones. Motion passed unanimously. Letter from Tal Uelson was read. Clerk was instructed to send letter to the Assessor. Hearing on Ordinance No. 3. Council voted urAniTaously to pass Ordinance No. 3. Hearing on Ordinance No. 4. Councilman Jones made a motion to amend Article X171, Sec. 2 to ehanpe the ordinance to read "to cause obstructions to the normal flow of traffion and to delete the original wording of the ordinance. e.4 See. 3 (a) & (b) to read s as not to leave available Brace for the free move— ment of vetricular traffic" and delete original wording of the ordinance. Potion was seconded by Councilman Cone. Motion passed unanimously. Councilman Swanson made a motion to Amend Article X111, Sec 12. to delete the words stwenty four houren and change ordiUnce to read 'pane week„ See. 13 (a) to delote the words "one hour" and change the ordinance to read "twelve hours.* Motion Was seconded by Councilman Cone. motion passed unanimously. Councilman Morgan made a motion to delete Sao 5 of Article XV in its entirety and In place of the original wtording of the ordinance have Sec. S read nNo vehicle or combination of vehielee shall exceed the=initatione of the existing State of Alaska regulations." Motion was seconded by Councilman Jonea. Motion passed unanimously. The council then voted unanimously to pass Ordinance No, 4. A Procldnation by Mayor Swanson nroelaiming October 31st as UvICL Day was read to the council. An Qrdinsnce regulating and controlling offenses, misdemeanors. and miscellaneous provisions was introduced and read for the First reading by Coinei]men Cone and ymo-'ten. A short discussion was held after the first reading and it was decided to table this ordinance until the next regular meeting of the council.
