ROLL CALL 2~ 4~ ® Present: Wisniewski, Nelson, Routh, Saling, Them Absent: Ca~ter, Sheldon Also P~esent: Kayo McGilliv~ay The Committee requested a letter be sent to Committee Membe~ Ca~te~, ~equesting intent, now that the busiest time of the yea~ is upon us. AGENDA APPROVAL Agenda approved as submitted PERSONS PRESENT SCHEDULED TO BE HEARD None APPROVAL OF MINUTES of May 7, 1985 Minutes were approved OLD BUSINESS a. Placement of Trash Barrels & Flower Boxes A map was made available at the meeting. The Committee and Kayo McGilliv~ay discussed the placement which would be most beneficial. The boxes will be a~ranged in groupings ~athe~ than individual boxes pe~ location. This yea~ the Committee decided to t~y placing some trash bar~els in close p~oximity to the flowe~ boxes in high foot t~affic areas. The locations a~e ma~ked on the map. Kayo McGillivray will be contacting Enstar personally to try to ascertain the whereabouts of the trash baPrels and lids that were lost. MOTION: Committee Member Nelson moved to request Council move forward with a tarp law or any other way to encourage covered loade, seconded by Committee Member Routh BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE Regular Meeting, May 28, 1985 Page 2 VOTE: ® · 8~ Chairman Wisniewski stated ~hat he had spoken wi%h the Borough and found ~hat they a~e giving away tarps in an effort to curb ~he ~ash alongside the ~oad.
