Progress _on ....Pris.on,.. Gr.eenhouse..P.r. oj~.c,t The plans are moving ahead to prepare the plants for the City in the spring. Councilwoman Bailie asked fo~ an approximation on ~he number and type of flowers needed fo~ the circles and the boxes. Council is supportive of the prison g~eenhouse project. The cement circle planter rings a~e here and ready to be installed. Councilwoman Bailie discussed an RFP going out for the widening and landscaping of Airport Way. The firm g~anted the RFP will be working with this group ~owards the landscaping effort. b:~ ....... Plans ..~or Spring The Director and the Commission discussed the summe~ crews, supervisor, and ~ork in view of the addition of the cemetery maintenance to the parks & rec crew. Also having one member of each BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE January 14, 1986 Page 2 (Beautification Committee and Parks & Rec Commission) present at the meetings. 6. NEW BUSINESS Budget The Committee, with Director McGillivra¥ went over last year's budget and agreed on equipment that is needed for the coming summer. The budget w111 now go to the Parks & Rec Commission. 7~ PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION REPORT 8~ Mlnutes of December lOth in your packet. The dlrector discussed the cemetery maintenance and budget with the Commission. COMMITTEE QUESTIONS & COMMENTS None 9.
