ROLL CALL Present: Caler, Cole, Darrow, Schilling Absent: Oberg, excused Also Present: Planning Specialie~ Loper, Councilman Hall 2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Agenda approved as submitted APPROVAL OF MINUTES of July 7, 1986 Minu~es approved as submitted 4. OLD BUSINESS a. Discussion: T~ees in ROW - Lot A2A, Sp~ucewood Glen #5 - Aaron ~otzin of Neal & Co. M~. Kotzin, with the McDonald's main office in Bellvue, was not able ~o a~tend. M~. & M~s. Moock did attend to explain the p~oblem. Mrs. Moock explained that prior to any clearing on the lot by their contractor, one of the trees which stands in a cluster in the ROW which ls slated for.upgrading, has had its' roots damaged. The tree ls in danger of falling and very likely will not survive. The Board and the Moocks discussed removal and replacement. The Moocks plan on placing a retaining wall 20' in length with two wings 5' on each side to protect both the vehicles and. the trees. The ROW will still move forward with the same plans for seeding and ~etaining the ~emaining t~ees. It was emphasized that every effort should be made to ~etain those ~emaining t~ees. MOTION: Board Membe~ Caier moved approval of the site plan as presented this date, seconded by Board Membe~ Cole. O~dinances -::Revis.,e..`,Lands. cap.i.nq ~:O~dinanc,e. .............................. The Board and Councilman Hall met to go ove~ the o~dinance and made fu~the~ ~evisions. It had been pointed out by Howard Hackney that several ~evisions had been made to the landscaping o~dinance and the Council had approved ~he o~dinance without the ~evisions they had desired. The o~dinance which combines these ~evisions plus the addition of the site plan criteria wiII go to public hea~ing at the Planning Commission Ievel at thei~ next meeting on August 27th.
