ROLL CALL Present: Cole, Oberg, Schilling Absent: Caler, Darrow - Excused 2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Agenda approved as submitted 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES of August 12, 1986 Minutes approved as submitted 4. OLD BUSINESS a. Revised Landscaping Plan' Lot B1A, Sprucewood Glen #3 - Mall Shops - E. Lowry b. Revised Landscaping Plan: Lot B-2, Sprucewood Glen #3 - Satellite Business - E. Lowry c. Revised Landscaping Plan- Lot C-iA & C-2, Sprucewood Glen - Omni Foods - E. Lowry It was noted by the Board, that all three lots, on their own, without including the ROW, were at 1%. The Board began review with item c - Lot c-iA for Omni Foods. The major change is that the planter boxes directly in front of the building have been removed. In their place, there have been boxes which measure approximately 124 sq.ft, added to the ends of the parking strips on all three lots. The boxes are 20' in height which should make snow plowing and visibility acceptable. The Board noted that there had been trees along the west of the lot between the bowling alley and the store. When the lot was cleared, the trees were removed. The Board suggested perhaps. 2 clusters at points along the lot line which would screen buildings. The ROW will be included which will just make 5%. On all three lots, the trees shown in the ROW will be moved to inside the bike path for protection and greater visibility. Lot B-iA: It was noted that the "future" building depicted to the rear of the "mall shops" would not be included in the approval of the lot. When the addition is constructed, the plans will return to the Board. This was agreed upon due to the fact that the LANDSCAPING REVIEW BOARD - Minutes September 16, 1986 Page 2 parking configurations could change depending upon the type of business that would go into the building. Lot B-2- This is the small satellite lot and it was noted that the configurations of the building, drive-through, and parking were all changed from the original plan. It was agreed that the small concrete island would be widened and the exact vegetation would be shown. Also, spaces were shown on the plan but it was unknown by Mrs. Lowry what they were for. The revised plan will show exactly what will be in these spaces. Ail three of these plans will be revised and will return at the next meeting. 5. NEW BUSINESS None 6. BOARD QUESTIONS & COMMENTS None 7. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned. The next regular meeting of the Board is Tuesday, September 23rd.
