been asking for' when t:hey come into the chamber',
Sue Oa~-te0 thanked 'the corr~mission fo~- h~ving her' and said shin had been with the
C of C for' about six yean~ and fe"it: there wes a defffnffte need for' a RV par'k
'located in the vacin'ity of Kenai and accessib']e to the servi'ces tn t:own.. One
gr'oup that 'had inquinec] about a place to stay in Keani had a'lr'eady gone t:o the
city park ~nd said that' i't: was in such disrepair they would not stay t:her, e. As
eam'ly ac Nay she had people coming into the chamber want:ing 'fac] i 'l i t 'f es for' t:he
entire summer' and 'looking for accomodat'i'ons. Monday of this week there t~ad been
ten paola asking for, a RV park to stay in. So'ldotna has t:hnee RV parks and
Kenafi has none but she fa'it: the Karat al-aa has much to offer to touri'st:s. Sue

Comm. issioner Darter Bond said tt~at he agreed wit:h Penny Dye. r and Sue Carter and
said that the fo"lks that like fishing are going to stay fin So'ldot:na anyway bu'E

Mayor John Wi'i'iiams was introduced and tthanked Sue Carter for her input and
asked 'f'f 1'~ was poss']'ble for' her to come to t:he Counc)'f'] meet:'ing next week
because he t~as schedu'led a work session befor the meeting at 6 pm and wou'ld
'iffke her, there when Forster' 8rother*s gave theffr proposa't of the RV
park,and wi'l'i be asking the Counci'i to come out and took over t:t~e s'ituat:ion. He

gathered on a need for a RV park, then pr'esent it t:o the EDC Comm'iss'ion for
actffon. ~t: wou'ld then be present:ed to the Kena'f Cff'¢y Counc'i'] for

1. Regard'ing the N'i'idwood Annexation, the Econorn'ic Deve'lopmemt
after reviewing '~he information presented to th~s commission and doing a ~tudM
on this annexatfiom has drafted a 'letter to t:he Mayor and members of the Kenai'
C ffty Council. The EDC revffe~ed the enc'losed "letter, and a motion ~as made by
Commi'ssfioner Barry Thomson and Secomded by Penny Dyer that: t:hfis draft 'letter be
written on Kena'f City stat'fonary and g~ven to the Kenai City Council. A'll
comm'issiom members present' were i'n favor ~nd a no')'l ca'l'l vote ~as

ever, he has no~ submitted anything at ~his ~ime

w'f'l'l be in Kenai and Soldo'¢na. Sue Cart:er said that ,Jason Elson is so
we'i'l organ'ized that it is going together very we'l'i and most: of' the
conference attendents w'fl'l be here for' four or five days.
