of COE. The .report discussin~ each p.roposal again
promised for follo~~ing ~n~eek by personnel at COE.
b. C7M Workshop. Trip to Coastal Zone Management ~^dork-
shop in Anchorage on Sept. lhth and l~th. ~~r. Davzs
reported on f~ture of CZM both nationall~ and as
pertinent to unorganiZed areas of our own State.
Also reported attendin~ workshop on "~~~Jetlands" and
"~lreas Me.r. itin~ Special Attention" . Mr. Davis assured
t~e Commission that CZM takes local input ver~ ser-
iously in regards to de~relopment of these lands.
c. A~praisals of Coyle p.roperty. Mr. Da~ris had alread~
obfiained t~~ro bids and was a~~aitin~ the third bef.ore
turning the information over to the Cit~ Manager for
an~ action he mav see fit to take. ~
d. Letter to r~r~ Brighton from Mr_ ~ D~vis. Indicatin~
Mr. Da~ris' wish to cantinue as Administrative Coordin-
ator for the Harbor Commiss.ion.

stated th? s idea ~rorked ~~ell in Europe as a~method of
dealin~ wi-~h erosion. Mr. Dragseth and Mr. Brighton
brou~ht u~ cost of construction as opposed to income that
mi~ht be ~enerated .for. the Cit~. It ~~ras generall~r accepted
that ~~ins derived ~,~ould be out-~~eighed ~~r initial cost.
