Applicant proposes to demo the structure at this site and construct a new building. The present structure, according to Kenai Peninsula Borough tax records, was placed on the site in 1 960 and is shown to be 908 square feet. The current structure is in disrepair and would require extensive repair costing more than the structure is worth. (This according to the applicant.) The proposed construction will require a variance from the setback requirements. Applicant has applied for the variance and a public hearing will be held at the Planning Commission meeting on June 14th. A copy of this application is attached. (1) Application signed by applicant, and if leasing the premises, co-signed by the owner indicating type and nature of business. (2) Current color photographs of the site and of any existing structures representing both the overall condition of the structure and accurately portraying the materials and color. (3) Site plan complying with the development criteria of this chapter and drawn to scale showing the existing structure and all proposed alterations and additions in relation to the site.
