Comm~ssione~ Swa~ne~ moved" we approve expansion plans so they can be
forwarded to 3uneau, seconded by Commiss~one~ Smalley.

Basic Public Library Assistant gran[ $5,000 received - books and other
library material can be purchased.

UnscheduIed Discussion of Addltion
Pa~king in the new addltion was discussed. Howard Hackney, Clty
Buiiding Inspecto~ has said we need no fu~thez pa~king spaces. The
toilet ~equi~ement has been met also.

Compact shelving estimate was $~5,000 - $40,000 approximately 1 yea~
ago. Stacking chai~s can be purchased at a late~ date. The facility,
once compIeted, can be functional and used with existing furnishings.
7. NEW BUS INESS
Unscheduled Discussion of Siq_n
EmiIy DeForest mentioned a sign.
MOTION:
Commissione~ Swa~ne~ moved that Emily and Dennis meet and submit plans
for a library sign to be present at the next meeting, seconded by
Commissioner Castimo~e.
VOTE:
Motion passed unanimously.
