Mr, Hanson ~xplained what ~recipi~ated the r~quest far an
are~ for children ta play in th~ Inlet View S/D region. A~
the present ~~me th~ spot cleared betwe~n ~awton and the

Kena~ Rark and th+~ schovl grounds.
M~» McGi~.~ivray a~ked what Mr. Hanson was look~ng for
specifically; Mr. Hanson ~tated that th~ residents in the
area don't want ~omething extravagant, no eq~ipment, just
level the area, perhaps some tap~o~l and seeding~ clean aut
the ditch where oil i~ pudd~.ing, ar~d ~ small fenee along th~
5pur Nwy and snm~ ~c~rt o~' sign tha~ would help keep the
3-wh~elers and snow machir~es out. Mr, Hanson said he would
like to keep that whole strip frvm Walker to Rog~rs the way
it is, gr~en with trees, rather tt~an haa~ the s~rip become a
"Spendard'~. The Comm~sszon agreed, notin~ ~hat the ~trip
further down along the Spur will soon be shopping cen~ers
and asked xf ~her~ was any way af r~quiring the lessee nf
the proper~y to retain a portion o~' the tree~ so that it
won't laok li,ke the ~trip by the Uptnwn Mot~l. This wi11 be
brought to the at~ent~on of the ~.and Manager. ~'he second
concern is that with several multi-family residences going
in ~lang Walker and ~prucewopd G~,en, and pexhaps Daub~n-
speck, a nearby park would be beneficial for that end of
Tinker,
