There were 635 exhibits and over 9,900 delegates,~ the keynote speaker was the Secretary of the Interior. Kayo has ordered tapes of some seminars that the Committee might be interested in hearing. c. WaZly. 8a 1 Two sets have been. ordered at over $100 per set. One cour[ will be set up wl[h possibly ~wo cou~ts if racquetball is slow. d.. ~ Correspondence Letters of thanks have been received from the 3unior Miss program and the Court System. e..._Rep°rt on.. Ch.r, istmas Decora_~ions The Beautification Committee ordered additional decorations which came in this summe~. Ai~Teck is working on hooking up the poles to accomodate the decorations. Pepsi Hot Shot en[ries go out 11/13/85. The tourney is at 10AM 11/23/85, The State finals will be the following Saturday in Anchorage. MOTION: Commissioner McComsey moved, seconded by Commissioner Seikawitch ~o purchase playground equipment listed by Director McGillivary at the prlces listed. VOTE: Motion passed unanimously. b. Gym G~ant - Floo~ Covering Director McGilliv~ay ~eported that of the g~ant in the amount of $5,000, $1,000 has been "spen~ to date. c. Dustbowl Ballfield The Committee has been made awa~e ~ha~ the property is probably going to be sold bu~ i~ is no~ known where ~he p~oceeds a~e going. 6. NEW BUSINESS None 7.
