The meeting was called to Order by Chairman Hul%berg at
7:10 p.m. Consaissioners present were: Hultberg, Massie, and
Seibert. Also present was Parks Director McO~I.li~!~a~'~',,,' ·
The meeting lacked a quorum; however, Director McGillivray.
presented the prOPosed i992-93. Parks, Recreation and
Beauti~icat. ion budget 2o the members present .since it wil 1
be turned in February 28 to the City Manager. A vote Eot
adoption o~ the budget will come up a.t the next meeting
prior to the budget going before the Council. Mr.
Mc(~illivray proposes to cut. monies ~rom Repair and Maintenance
Supplies in all' three budgets since all that had been
budgeted had not 'been used in past years. H® is requesting
some increases in Transportation and Miscellaneous for added
expenses due to his chairmanship on the Regional Council,
schooling ~or Bob Frates, and registration ~ees Eot the
Kenai Conference. Under Machinery' in the Park's budget, he
is requesting additional monies Eot a 4X4 38hp tractor with
a front-end 1.oader -equipped wit.h turf tires to replace the
Little Bison cu~rent, lY being used.
A letter needs to be written to the Boro.ugh .:regarding the
~encing and Seeding o.~ the Eield near the Junior High
School. This also will be on March's agenda.
Due to lack oi quorum, the meeting was adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
