Housing c. d. e. f. g• ITEM 5: SECRETARY'S REPORT ITEM 6: ADJOURN MINUTES KENAI PLANNLNG & ZONING COMMTSSTON REGULAR MEETTNG - OCTOBER 10, 1973 7:00 P.M. - CITY MANAGER'S pFFICE AL HUDSON - CHAIRMAN The Meeting was called to order at 7:15 P.M., October 10, 1973, by Chairman Hudson. Commissioners in attendance: Hudson, Coyle, Malston, Nelson ~ Elson. ITEM 2; APPROVAL OF MINUTES, SEPfiEMBER 26, 1973 There were no objections to the previous minutes. Minutes were approved as distributed. Commissioner Kjelstad in. ITEM 3: OLD BUSINESS (a) Hornaday correspondence - Kenai River Bride It was moved by Ron Malston a letter be sent to Mr. Hor previous act~.ons concern~.ng asking for his comments and time to complete their land Motion passed unanimously. and seconded by Jon Nelson that naday with copies of its three the area adjacent to the bridge that the Administration be given inventory and land status map. City Manager Navarre in. (b) Borough Comprehensive Plan It was moved by Jon Nelson, seconded by Ralston to resolve the question as to whether this document supplements the 1970 comprehensive plan or supercedes it and to ask for delay or continuance of the October 22nd hearing. Voting yes; Nelson, Malston, Kjelstad, Coyle, Elson and Hudson. Passed unanimously. ITEM 4: NEW BUSINESS (a) V.I.P. Estates Malston moved for the approval V.I.P. Estates Plat subject to street names being changed to conform to the City Street Naming Plan, specifically Smugglers Lane to 2nd Ave. SW, seconded by Jon Nelson, passed unanimously. Discussion then followed concerning the ability of the City to be able to provide street maintenance in a subdivision south of the river prior to the completion of the Kenai River Bridge. MINUTES, KENAI PLANNING ~ ZONING COMMISSION, OCTOBER 10, 1973 Page -2- (b) F.A.A. Housing City Manager Navarre requested more time for evaluation. Chairman Hudson stated that a policy must be developed immediately and that the status of the existing leases be reviewed. The Administration was instructed to send a letter to the owners of Go Machines Sales and Service advising them that their application for a new lease will have to go before the Planning Commission and in the mean time they will be on a month to month basis in regards to rental fees. This item will be put on the agenda for the next Planning Commission.
