ITEM 5: ADJOURN MINUTES KENAI PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING - MARCH 13, 1974 7:45 P.M. - CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE RON MALSTON - CHAIRMAN ROLL CALL: Members Present: Jon Nelson, Ruby Coyle, Nels Kjelstad, Al Cruver will be in late. Members Absent: Ron Malston, A.L. Hudson, Jim Elson Also Present: George Navarre and Fred Korpinen Acting Chairman: Jon Nelson, Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting March 13, 1974. ITEM 2; Approval of Minutes, February 27, 1974 The minutes of February 27, 1974 were approved as presented. ITEM 3: Old Business Right of W_~ Easement, Homer Electric Association Al Cruver moved, Ruby Coyle seconded to approve for HEA an easement 60' from center line on Walker Lane for a transmission line on the west side of Walker Lane to a new substation. The substation will be located on Kenai Packers property as far south as possible. Discussion followed, no objections. Passed unanimously. ITEM 4: New Business (a.) Mrs. Black Home Occupation Kjelstad moved, Coyle seconded. The Commission has no objections to the Home Occupation of Mrs. Black in that it is a permitted use. A letter will be sent to Mrs. Black informing her of this decision. Discussion followed, no objections. Passed unanimously. (b.) House Bill 445 No action taken on House B~11 445. ITEM 4: (c.) The Commission and Administration discussed the Mandy Walker area to determine if a trailer would be auth- orized in that particular area, even though it is a j suburban residential area. It was determined that a trailer would be authorized in that area. ITEM 4: (d.) Mr. Navarre read a letter in reference to subdivision plats in the Beaver Creek area. He read a protest letter written by him and sent to the Borough Planning Commission. This letter was read to the City Planning Commission for their information only. These plats were approved by the Borough without going through the City of Kenai Planning Commission. ITEM 5: Adjournment A motion was made by Jon Nelson, seconded by Ruby Coyle to adjourn. The motion was carried unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 10:00 P.M.
