Minutes of the last meeting were approved.
No old business.
New Business:
a. Public Hearing - Rezonning and Vacation -Radar Subdivision.
John Williams requested the Planning Commission to approve
re-zonning the property from suburban residential to light
industrial. The land has never been developed; the company
which will purchase the property is a large, but unnamed oil
company which plans to immediately erect a $200, 000 warehouse
and storage yard. The development plan calls for the land to
be cleared in the center with an access road from the highway.
Trees will screen the developed area on four sides.
Moved by Hudson; seconded by Nelson to vacate and rezone
the Radar Subdivision from suburban residential to light industrial
and that the Borough look into rezonning the areas near the
subject property, north of Wildwood Drive, to light industrial.
Passed unanimously.
b. Request for trailer variance. -Marilyn Scott. Action deferred
until Marilyn Scott can appear.

Kenai Advisory Planning Commission on September 25, 1974
to discuss the Borough Comprehensive Plan and related matters.
Meeting adjourned at 8:20 p.m.
