CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE RON MALSTON, CHAIRMAN ITEM l: ROLL CALL Present: Chairman Ron Malston, Betty Glick, Cliff Heus, and Nels Kjelstad. Absent: Harry Gaines, Roland Raymond ~ Beverly Fillio ITEM 2: APPROVAL OF MINUTES OCTOBER 8, 1975 There was no .objection to unanimous approval of the minutes for October 8, 1975. ITEM 3: OLD BUSINESS a. Chairman Ron Malston stated to the Commission that Harry Gaines has resigned as he is living outside the City limits now. ~ No action taken b. Cliff Heus suggested that a name should be submitted to represent the Planning and Zoning Commission at the Kenai Peninsula Borough Planning ~ Zoning meetings. MOTION Nels Kjelstad moved that Betty Glick be recommended to the Mayor and City Council to represent the City of Kenai at the Kenai Peninsula Borough Planning ~ Zoning Commission. Motion was seconded by Cliff Heus. ACTION Motion passed unanimously ITEM 4: NEW BUSINESS a. First Assembly of God- George Everson, Permit for Temporary Trailer Use: Mr. Hudson presented plans showing where the First Assembly of God Church plans to build a parsonage in Beluga Subdivision and stated that they would like a temporary Conditional Use Permit for a trailer to use for approximately a year as a re- sedence while the parsonage is being built. KENAI PLANNING ~ ZONING COMMISSION ~f REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 22, 1975 PAGE 2 ITEM 4: New Business (a) continued: Debbie Daisy said that the Administration was in agreement with the plan and that the Administration would notify everyone within 300 ft. of the Lot area. A Public Hearing could be scheduled for the 12th of November 1975. A discussion followed concerning the need for a Conditional Use Permit. The Commission felt that this matter could better be handled by using the provisions of the zoning ordinance. MOTION Nels Kjelstad moved to refer the matter to the Administration with recommendation that they apply the provision of Section 20.30.180 (2)- (d) concerning mobile homes. Motion seconded by Betty Glick ACTION Motion passed unanimously ITEM 5: ADJOURN Betty Glick moved to adjourn for Work Session with the City Council.
