2. AGENDA APPROVAL
MOTION:
Mr. Hamrick moved, seconded by Mr. Raymond, for approval of the
.agenda of the June 23, 1976 meeting as distributed.
Motion passed unanimously.
3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF JUNE 9, 1976
MOTION:
~ Mr. Heus moved, seconded by Mr. Raymond, for approval of the
minutes of the June 9, 1976 meeting as distributed.
Motion passed unanimously.
4. OLD BUSINESS
A. Donnybrook Subdivision: Final Plat
Mrs. Horton advised the Commission that they had reviewed this
plat at the April 14, 1976 meeting, but had failed to make a
motion on it. The Borough needs a motion before they can record
the final plat.
MOTION:
Mr. Heus moved, seconded by Mr. Raymond, for approval of the final
plat of Donnybrook Subdivision as submitted.
Motion passed unanimously.

B. Redoubt Terrace Subdivision, Addition #3: Final Plat
Mrs. Horton advised that the Ad.min.istration recommended approval
of the plat with the stipulation that the footage of radius on
the curves be shown.
a~?r. Hamrick asked if the easements were accepted. Mr. Brice
stated that the easements were coming from Homer Electric
Association.
MOTION:
Mr. Heus moved, seconded by Mr. Hamrick, for approval of.. the
final plat of Redoubt Terrace Subdivision, Addition #3, as
submitted.
Motion passed unanimously.
C. For Pete's Sake Subdivision (formerly Rayal Estates Subd,):
Final Plat
Mrs. Horton stated that the Administration recommended approval
of the plat with the stipulation that the radius of the curve
at the intersection of Beaverloop Road and Aleene L~av be shown,
t?zat the utility easements be shown and that the building setbacks
be shown. There is also a problem with the turnarounn.~ at the
west and east ends of °'A" Street. The entire turnaroun~. needs
to be shown on the plat, but is only shown on the owner's prcn_ert~~
on the plat.

r'tr. HamricJc moved, seconded by Mr. Raymond, f_or approval of the
fina]_ plat of For Pete's Sake Subdivision with. the follocaing
recommendations:
1. That the building setbacks be shown.
2.. That the property owner on the north side of the proposed
subd ivision be shown.
3. That the radius of curve at the intersection of Beaverloop
Road and Aleene Th~ay be shown.
4. That a .fifty foot turnaround be shown at the west end of
°A" Street or at the stub end of Aleene t~~ay.
Motion passed unanimously.
D. Deepwood Park Subdivision: Final Plat
Mrs. Horton stated that the administration recommended approval
of this plat. Some o` the lots are too small for on-site water
and sewer. r~~r, Brice stated that alJ_ lots would have City
water and sewer and that the utility easements would be shown
before the plat was recorded,

MOTION:
Mr. Raymond moved, seconded by Mr. Heus, for approval of the
final plat of Deepwood Park Subdivision with the stipulation
that the Borough's. recommendations be complied with.
Mr. Heus asked if there would be a note that the lots cannot
be fronted on Lawton Drive. Mr. Brice stated that there
would be.
Motion passed unanimously.
E. Nicolai Subdivision: Reconsideration of Preliminary Plat:
Nick Poppin
Mr. Poppin was not present at the meeting.
Mr. Hamrick stated that no. 10 of Section 20.15.045 of Ordinance
No. 26 requires that the location of existing sewers, water mains,
culverts and other utilities within the subdivision and immediately.
adjacent to must be shown on the preliminary plat and these were
not shown. No. 13 of the same section requires that the names
of adjacent subdivisions and plotted lots and streets or an indi-
cation that the adjacent land is not subdivided must be shown on
the. preliminary plat and these were not shown. Mr. Hamrick
further stated that some of the lots on the plat were in violation
of Section 20.15.075, no. 13, in reference to size. No. 33 of the
same section requires that building set back lines be shown and
these were not on the plat. Mr. Hamrick stated that according
to Section 20.15.085, Mr. Poppin must petition the Commission
for an exception if he does not wish to comply with any of the
above stated requirements.
MOTION:
Mr. Hamrick moved, seconded by Mr. Raymond, for approval of the
preliminary plat of Nicolai Subdivision as submitted.
Motion failed unanimously by roll call vote.

in order to prepare for the City Land Sale.

Mr. Heus moved, seconded by Mr. Hamrick, that the Commission
recommend to the City Council that the following Borough
Foreclosure Parcels be retained by the City for use:

5. NEW BUSINESS
None
6. OTHER BUSINESS.
A. City Council Report: Ed Ambarian
Councilman Ambarian stated that the Council had reviewed
the American Legion renewal lease and the Council had given
them a three month extension.
The public hearing on the animal control ordinance is scheduled
for the first Council meeting in July..
The Mayor has appointed a committee to review the applicants
for the position of City Manager and they are now in the
process of doing so.
B. Borough Planning & Zoning Commission Report: Betty Glick
Chairman Glick gave the Commission information on the Borough
Planning and Zoning Commission meetings.
C. Harbor Commission Report: Betty Glick
Chairman Glick gave a report on the Harbor Commission.
D. Airport Advisory Committee Report: Mike Hamrick
Mrs. Daisy stated that the ADAP Funding bill had passed the
House and the Senate and was now waiting for Presidential
approval. The planning. portion had been left out of the bill,
so she did not,know-when we would be able to start on the project.
E. Administrative Report: Elena Horton
Mrs. Horton stated that the Mayor had asked that the Commission
begin gathering names of individuals who might be interested in
serving on the Commission to replace Art Evans, who has resigned.
Chairman Glick read Mr. Evans letter of resignation and stated
that the Commission regretted losing him.
Mrs. Horton stated that Deborah"Daisy had resigned from the City
and that the position should be filled by the middle or end of
July. The Commission recommended to the Administration that the
position be filled as quickly as possible.

Regarding the Old Town Condemnations, the Administration has met
and is working on revising ordinances to either repair the
condemned buildings or dispose of them.
7. ADJOURNMENT
MOTION:
Mr. Hamrick moved, seconded by Mr. Heus, that the Commission
adjourn their June 23, 1976 meeting.
Motion passed unanimously.
