A. City Council Report: Betty Glick
Mrs. Glick reported on the September 17 City Council meeting.
Mr. Ron Miller asked for direction from. the City Council
regarding his property on Fifth and Forest. He has a large
building which was used for storage and housed Peninsula
Sanitation Co. in the past. Now he feels that this property
has grandfather rights. He is interested in selling the
property and wants to know that the new owners can use the
property for something else. Mr. Miller should be coming
to the Planning and Zoning Commission to pursue this further.
The Council supported the Planning Commission's decision
regarding the vacation on Lake Street. The Council considered
some Harbor Commission increases and Administrative support
of Coastal Energy Impact; approved increase for Gary Davis'
salary; negotiated concerning leased lands in harbor area.
