Co-Chairman Fanning informed the Committee of preliminary
suggestions for a party which would celebrate the signing of the
constitution. The day will be recognized on a national level and
would the Committee like to involve Kenai. The Committee agreed.
It was noted that the day will be the same as an open house for
the new Mt. View Elementary School, however, Committee Member
O'Reilly suggested that the open house could be held from 6:00
P.M. to 7:00 P.M. allowing time for the parents to move to the
auditorium.
All members of the Committee volunteered jobs which will play key
rolls in the celebration, including Mayor Williams. Mayor
Williams will make a presentation of the discussion to Council and
request $1,000 for expenses. Lists and a sample program/
